LEAVE OF ABSENCE
Leave of Absence was previously granted to Councillor Michelle Tormey for the period 4 March 2014 to 11 April 2014 inclusive.

Outcome 2 - We plan for our future growth
1 Wianamatta Regional Park - Management of Macrofauna and Feral and Domestic Animal Strategies, Timing of Regional Park Transfer and Future Development of Central Precinct Strategic Planning Manager, Paul Grimson introduced the report and invited Mike Patrick, Regional Manager SW Region, Office of Environment and Heritage to give a presentation. Mr Patrick advised Council as follows: · A Plan of Management for the Wianamatta Regional Park was adopted on 15 February 2011; · The developer is responsible for implementing the Macrofauna Management Plan and the Feral and Domestic Animal Management Strategy; · A Project Control Group, Chaired by the Department of Planning and Infrastructure and including the Office of Environment and Heritage and Lend Lease has been established to accelerate the transfer of the remaining land; · A staged timetable will be provided for handing over the Park as soon as possible. Council thanks all staff associated and involved with the RID Squad for their efforts. |

Councillor Marcus Cornish requested leave of absence for the period 19 April 2014 to 30 April 2014. PRC 10 RESOLVED on the MOTION of Councillor John Thain seconded Councillor Greg Davies that the matter be brought forward and dealt with as a matter of urgency. His Worship the Mayor, Councillor Ross Fowler OAM, ruled that the matter was urgent and should be dealt with at the meeting. |
PRC 11 RESOLVED on the MOTION of Councillor John Thain seconded Councillor Greg Davies that Councillor Marcus Cornish be granted leave of absence for the period 19 April 2014 to 30 April 2014. |
